In 2025, Southern Lehigh residents have the opportunity to elect 4 representatives to our school board. The Southern Lehigh Community Partners PAC is committed to supporting candidates who will bring thoughtful, responsible, and informed leadership to our board. Kim Jaramillo
Kim Jaramillo is a local mom, physician, medical educator, community advocate, and proud public school graduate running for Southern Lehigh School Board. A dedicated public school parent, she has championed teacher support, innovative learning, and safe, inclusive classrooms. Kim believes in listening to all voices and finding common ground to strengthen schools.

Luis Melecio
Luis Melecio is committed to ensuring students have access to academic and vocational programs that match their goals. As a father of a young student, a union member, electrician and musician, Luis recognizes the variety of pathways students can utilize to foster a successful and fulfilling future.

Josh Rager
With 20 years in business development for the steel industry, Josh brings experience in budgeting, project management, leadership, and collaboration. Through his active involvement in the PTA and school events, Josh has shown his commitment to makings students’ experiences in Southern Lehigh positive and uplifting. He is committed to academic excellence in our schools, safety, inclusion, and transparency to support students and the community. Josh and his wife, Shannon, also raise guide dogs for The Seeing Eye. We have requested more puppy pictures for this website :)

Chris Sykora
Chris Sykora is an aerospace and mechanical engineer and a Hopewell Elementary parent living in Center Valley. He is running for School Board to bring practical thinking, a STEM-focused mindset, and a strong commitment to public education. Chris believes great schools grow from community trust, problem-solving, and keeping politics out of classrooms.
